BLENNERHASSETT AREA RADIO CONTROL CLUB FIELD RULES

 

1. PARKING ONLY IN DESIGNATED AREAS.

2. SPECTATORS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN PITS OR ON THE FLYING FIELD.

3. SMALL CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY ADULT AT ALL TIMES.

4. AMA SAFETY RULES MUST BE ADHERED TO AT ALL TIMES.

5. ALL FLIERS MUST BE AMA MEMBERS AND CLUB MEMBERS, OR SPECIAL VISITORS.

6. ALL TRANSMITTERS MUST HAVE THE PROPER FREQUENCY NUMBER AND FLAG ATTACHED. ALSO, NAME AND AMA NUMBER MUST BE AFFIXED. NO TRANSMI1TER SHALL BE OPERATED WITHOUT THE PROPER PIN ATTACHED.

7. RETURN TRANSMITTER TO IMPOUND PROMPTLY AFTER USE AND FREQUENCY PIN TO CONTROL STATION WHEN NOT IN USE.

8. IF OTHERS ARE WAITING, USE OF FREQUENCY PIN IS LIMITED TO 15 MIN. FOR FLYING/TESTING.

9. EFFECTIVE SILENCERS ARE REQUIRED FOR ENGINES WITH A DISPLACEMENT OF 0.10 CUBIC INCHES OR LARGER.

10. VISITING FLIERS (AMA REQUIRED) MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A CLUB MEMBER AND COMPLY WITH ALL FLYING REGULATIONS. CLUB MEMBERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTIONS OF THEIR GUESTS.

11. EACH FLIER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE HE CAUSES.

12. NO FLYING OVER NEIGHBORING PROPERTY OR RETRIEVAL OF DOWNED AIRCRAFT WITHOUT PERMISSION FROM LANDOWNERS.

13. BEGINNERS ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE INSTRUCTOR/PILOT UNTIL COMPETENCE HAS BEEN DEMONSTRATED.

14. NO FLYING IS PERMITTED OVER PITS, SPECTATOR AREA OR PARKING AREA.

15. PLANES, TRANSMITTERS AND OTHER EQUIPMENT MUST BE KEPT IN A NEAT ORDERLY FASHION ON THE FLIGHT LINE. IF AREAS ARE DESIGNATED, PLANE AND GEAR MUST BE KEPT WHERE ASSIGNED.

16. ALL TRASH MUST BE PLACED IN APPROPRIATE RECEPTACLES. POLICING AND TRASH CONTROL IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH MEMBER.

17. DO NOT PLACE FUEL SOAKED RAGS OR PAPER TOWELS IN CIGARETTE BUTT CONTAINERS.

18. NO ONE, FOR ANY REASON, IS TO REACH ACROSS A SPINNING PROPELLER FOR MAKING ENGINE ADJUSTMENTS, FOR REMOVAL OF A GLOW PLUG BATTERY, ETC.

19. NO RC VEHICLES ARE PERMI1TED IN THE PARKING AREA OR SURROUNDING
GROUNDS, EXCEPT AS MAY BE PERMITTED DURING CLUB EVENTS.

20. NO R/C AIRCRAFT ARE TO BE TAXIED INTO THE PITS FROM THE FIELD, OR TAXIED OUT FROM THE PITS TO THE FIELD. ALL ENGINES ARE TO BE STARTED AND TO BE STOPPED ON THE RUNWAY SIDE OF THE FENCE. Tools and equipment may be left on the runway side of the fence during actual flight, but they, and the plane, are to be moved back to the pit side of the fence at the end of the flight.

22. ANY MEMBER VIOLATING A FIELD RULE SHALL BE SUBJECT TO REPRIMAND AS SUGGESTED BY SAFETY COMMITTEE, AND VOTED UPON BY MAJORITY OF MEMBERS PRESENT AT A REGULAR CLUB MEETING.
